Manager Government Relations

Establishing and maintaining high-value relationships with government, industry and regulators.
Work alongside the Senior Manager, Government Relations and HO GRRA, lead the development and implementation of annual and longer-term strategy for engagement with government and key public sector agencies.
In this role you will be responsible for: Draft and assist with coordination of events or projects with other business units related to government advocacy on key topics and issues.
Develop high-level communications and briefing materials for target audiences in collaboration with other areas of the business to promote greater collaboration with Government on key issues.
Assist the Senior Manager and Head of GR and Regulatory Affairs to advise on responses to inquiries from government officials, advocacy documents and special projects.
Provide input to speeches and remarks for senior leaders relating to government and thought leadership.
Work with the wider Corporate Affairs team on written materials in support of thought leadership goals.

Corporate Affairs, Communications and/or Government or Public Relations experience desired.

Demonstrate a keen understanding of diverse political and regulatory risks, along with emerging industry trends and their impact on the regulatory landscape.
Attention to detail, intellectual rigor, and a commitment to professionalism are crucial.
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter eager to contribute meaningfully within a collaborative and supportive team environment.
