Position Overview: As a CAD Technician specializing in Aluminium Fabrication, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of aluminium products.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), with a focus on aluminium fabrication processes.
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability to translate concepts into accurate and efficient technical drawings.

Responsibilities:

Create Accurate CAD Drawings:

Develop detailed and accurate 3 D CAD drawings for aluminium fabrication projects.
Ensure that designs align with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering and Production Teams:

Work closely with engineers and production teams to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
Collaborate on design modifications and improvements to enhance product performance and efficiency.

Material and Process Knowledge:

Possess a deep understanding of aluminium fabrication materials, processes, and industry standards.
Stay updated on advancements in aluminium fabrication technology and incorporate best practices into design processes.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough reviews of CAD drawings to identify potential issues and ensure design accuracy.
Work with quality assurance teams to address any discrepancies and implement necessary revisions.


 

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive documentation of all design processes, modifications, and iterations.
Generate reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders as needed.

Adherence to Timelines:

Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and milestones.
Communicate effectively with project managers to provide regular updates on progress and potential challenges.


Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, CAD Design, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a CAD Technician in the aluminium fabrication industry.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in CAD software such as Auto CAD, Solid Works, or similar programs.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of aluminium fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
