Within Auckland region Aroon Thai Massage is looking for Thai Traditional Massage Therapists to join the team. This is a permanent role. Full time, with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours per week. Our business hours are Monday to Sunday, between 9.30am and 8.30pm, with shifts rostered across these days and hours. Competitive remuneration $28.00 - $35.00 per hour About the Role You will be based in Auckland What you will do Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing. Utilise a range of Thai massage techniques. Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation & relieve muscle tension. Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide rehabilitation advice. Assessing the clients’ physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques. Perform therapeutic massage in accordance with best practice. Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the storage and preparation of massage materials. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the massage working areas. Follow all company safety procedures. Employing other Thai Massage techniques and complementary aids and essential oils assist recovery. The successful applicant will:  Have at least 2 years of relevant experience OR Certificate in Thai Massage  Good communication and customer service skills  Must be able to work on weekend and public holiday as this are our busiest times.
