**About role**

**Position**: Thai massaege therapist assistant.

**Type**: Permanent full time. You will work minimum of 30 hours and maximum 40 hours each week.

**Working hours**: between 9:00 am - 8:30 pm Monday - Sunday depending on roster

**Pay hourly rate**: $29.66 - $31 you will be paid weekly.

You will be paid for annual leave, sick leave, bereavement leave.

**Qualifications and minimum requirements**:

- No prior experience is required but it would be an advantage if you have worked in this industry. Training will be provided. However, you must have at least a minimum of 150 hours Thai massage certificate.
- it would be advantages if you have relevant certificates other than 150 hours i.e. reflexology, oil massage, facial massage waxing etc but it's not neccessary.
- Immaculate presentation and grooming.
- Attention to details, friendly, high service-minded and customer care.
- Ensure high quality service with professional manner.
- Empathy and Compassion: Being able to empathize with clients and show compassion creates a supportive and nurturing environment.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, including proper sanitation of massage equipment and surfaces, is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of both the therapist and the client.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Preparing the massage room: This involves ensuring that the massage area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies such as towels, oils, and massage equipment.
- Assisting the therapist with client intake: Greeting clients, Discussing any specific needs or concerns they may have before the massage. session.
- Providing support during massage sessions: Assisting the therapist by preparing clients for the massage, helping them onto the massage table, and positioning them as needed during the session.
- Maintaining a calming atmosphere: Ensuring that the massage room is quiet, peaceful, and conducive to relaxation by minimizing distractions and creating a tranquil environment.
- Assisting with other tasks: This might include laundry, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies.
- Communicating with clients: Answering questions, providing information about services, and ensuring that clients have a positive experience throughout their visit.
- Learning and growing: Continuously educating yourself about Thai massage techniques, anatomy, and related topics to improve your skills and support the therapist effectively.
