JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking for seven (7) skilled and experienced Excavator Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating excavators to complete various construction and earthmoving tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preparing and positioning plant for operation, selecting, fitting and removing attachments such as buckets, winches, loading scoops, shovel blades and rock breaking hammers
Operating controls to excavate, break, drill, level, compact, gouge out, move, load and spread earth rock, rubble, soil and other materials
Monitoring operation of plant and adjusting controls to regulate pressure, speed and flow of operation and ensuring safety of other workers
Raising, lowering and manipulating attachments using manual and hydraulic controls
Working from drawings, markers and verbal instructions
Servicing, lubricating, cleaning and refueling plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCES
At least three (3) years of relevant experience or level 4 qualification
HOURS : Minimum guaranteed hours of 40 per week
HOURLY RATE OR SALARY BAND : $ 29.66 - $33.00 per hour
EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent Full-Time
LOCATION : West Coast
JOB TYPES : Full-time, Permanent
PAY : $ 29.66 - $ 33.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate :
     West Coast : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Prederred)
WORK LOCATION : In Person
