Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand Quay Body Corporate Management Full time

Due to growth, we have a great opportunity for a Body Corporate Manager to join the Quay Body Corporate team based in our Hamilton CBD office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and financial management of a portfolio of residential and commercial Body Corporate properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct site inspections where appropriate
  2. Develop and manage annual budgets and levies for each Body Corporate
  3. Arrange Insurance for all buildings and other improvements
  4. Arrange valuations for insurance purposes
  5. Lodge Insurance claims as required
  6. Chair annual general meetings and committee meetings, providing expert advice on the Unit Titles Act
  7. Prepare notice of and resolutions to be passed
  8. Notify unit owners of results of any vote or resolution
  9. Deal with inwards and outwards correspondence in a professional and diplomatic manner
  10. Negotiate contracts and manage contractors for repairs, maintenance, and capital works projects
  11. Maintain, manage and keep in good state of repair the common property within the terms of the body corporate budget/funds

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  1. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  2. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  3. Proficiency in MS Office applications
