The Role and You

We are in the midst of a number of business projects to complement our 2025 strategy and beyond. We are looking for a senior level business analyst resource with demonstrable experience managing large business (end-to-end) projects, strong analytical experience, and a big picture focus. You will need to demonstrate a track record of project scoping, project planning, management, implementation, and delivery.

You will be an active listener, have an enquiring style ensuring you can develop great collaborative relationships within the IT Team and across the wider business. Previous experience navigating and prioritising multiple business projects simultaneously is a must.

From day one you'll hit the ground running and take ownership of a key business project; therefore, previous experience managing large (end-to-end) business projects and learning the business on the go is a necessity. Demonstrating a high competency in critical thinking, visual & conceptual modelling methodologies, and project management technology tools is imperative.

As an established IT professional, it goes without saying that you are experienced in the use of IT software tools and systems such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheets/MS Project, Lucidchart/Visio or similar, so self-navigating your way around systems comes naturally.

As this role requires significant interaction and collaboration across the business and with stakeholders, it will be fully based at our offices at Airport Oaks, Auckland in the medium term, so you will be someone who enjoys the day-to-day office environment helping to build improved, smarter business systems.

All our critical business applications have been migrated to Microsoft Dynamics 365 using CRM, Field Service, CRM Portal, Finance and Operations, Power Automate, and other related tools. As a member of a highly experienced IT Team, this role also supports critical business applications.

What you will bring

  • Significant business analyst experience including solid knowledge and use of process improvement methodologies and IT technologies
  • Experienced in requirements gathering, documentation, and agile methodologies is a must
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end business project management
  • Able to engage with a wide variety of people especially in a training context
  • High level of demonstrable critical thinking, visual and conceptual modelling skills
  • Tertiary qualification in IT related discipline/s
  • High level English skills, both spoken and written
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 exposure advantageous
