Description and Requirements

Partner Account Managers are sales professionals responsible for selling Lenovo offerings (hardware, software, services, and peripherals). They are responsible for managing the overall partner relationship as well as selling into and increasing share of wallet within assigned resellers.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for sales quota attainment of assigned Reseller Partners.
  2. Establish and manage relationships with Resellers – at executive, management, product manager, and sales representative level.
  3. Provide leadership and coaching to reseller sales teams who manage relationships with key customers, in conjunction with the distributors.
  4. Assist resellers in making sound purchasing decisions through roadmap reviews and market opportunity analysis.
  5. Understand how markets and competitors will influence the selling of Lenovo products and services.
  6. Coordinate all major Lenovo activity/programs with Reseller Partners, and their key sales staff.
  7. Develop and promote new opportunities with the resellers.
  8. Ensure the resellers understand and can successfully promote the Lenovo product set.
  9. Develop and execute reseller account plans through effective management and supporting strategies with Inside Sales to ensure revenue target attainment.
  10. Ensure resellers have adequate access to Lenovo information and marketing materials.
  11. Articulate Lenovo's "value proposition" to Business Partners.
  12. Manage the longer-term development of the reseller channel programme, growing partner satisfaction and loyalty in Lenovo to achieve and increase in their share of business.
  13. Increase understanding of the marketplace.
  14. The ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organisation, including at CXO level.
  15. Understanding and in-depth knowledge of products and services, industry trends, and competition.
  16. You must be a team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  17. You should be able to identify business opportunities and act on them and bring them to fruition.
  18. You will possess an excellent track record of sales achievements.
