About The Mahi (Role)
With our current Physiotherapist going on extended leave, we have an opportunity for a fixed-term Physiotherapist to join our team.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) role with an expected end date of July 2026.
You will be based within our Christchurch clinic and satellite sites.
As a clinician, you will embrace a collaborative approach to patient care by working closely with a fully integrated team.
You will uphold our commitment to delivering excellent rehabilitation services with a patient-centric focus and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients through comprehensive and compassionate care.
Your caseload will consist of Med Fees, Pain Management, ICP, Training for Independence, and Early Intervention services.
Key tasks will include:
- Patient assessments and treatments
- Administration and reporting
- Liaising with colleagues, funders, and employers
- Team meetings and training
This is a fixed-term role, however, you will receive extensive training and/or mentoring, depending on your experience level, and will be supported by the Upper South Island Regional Clinic Manager.
You will be a key member of our Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team, supported by our National Network of highly trained and experienced rehabilitation professionals.
About The Christchurch Team
The Christchurch team is a small, close-knit group of professionals consisting of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and a Vocational Consultant.
The TBI Health Christchurch clinic is centrally located and has a well-equipped gym, onsite parking available, and a coffee machine We are a hard-working team that is passionate about healthcare and our clients.
The clinic site is shared with our Vocational Rehabilitation and Hospital and Community teams.
We have a fun team culture and often have monthly social gatherings and social sports (previously netball, currently corporate rowing).
Be part of a team that has achieved some great things in the equity space as well. They continue to increase the cultural capability of the team and build new networks in the community with Māori health providers and local iwi.
About You
This is a clinical role, therefore, you must have a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy.
Substantial orientation, training, and support will be provided.
