Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a MSK Physiotherapist located in the Christchurch Metropolitan Area. The MSK Physiotherapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, providing rehabilitation and injury prevention services, and offering ergonomic advice. Daily tasks include documentation, coordinating with other healthcare providers, and monitoring patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes. The role involves engaging directly with patients and providing expert guidance to improve their physical health and wellbeing.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapy, with skills in injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Experience with ergonomic assessment and pain management
- Capability in developing and implementing customized treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- New Zealand registered Physiotherapist with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or certifications in related areas is a plus
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Christchurch area when required
