The Clinical Nurse Specialist – Māori Health (CNS-MH) position is an exceptional opportunity for a nurse looking to develop their career in palliative care with a specialist focus on Māori Health and advocacy. This new position has been created to further acknowledge our responsibilities to Te Triti o Waitangi and to improve access for Māori patients.

Ngā pūkenga e hiahiatia / Skills you will bring to the role:

  • You will be a senior nurse with at least 4 years' experience in palliative care or similar.
  • A keenness and desire to work at the top of your scope.
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical, professional, and cultural leadership.
  • Preparedness to grow the role and to bring a solid Māori cultural lens to this work.
  • An interest and enthusiasm for continuous quality improvement.
  • Ability to demonstrate evidence-based practice.
