We are seeking an Oral Medicine Specialist to join our busy Hospital & Specialist Dentistry team in Auckland. We have a full-time (1.0FTE) permanent position available.
The Oral Medicine service is part of Auckland Regional Hospital & Specialist Dentistry (part of Surgical directorate) providing hospital-based secondary and tertiary level specialist oral health services for people living in the greater Auckland area. The successful applicant will be joining our existing oral medicine consultants and a wider multidisciplinary team of dental specialists and dentists. The focus of the role is the provision of comprehensive hospital-based oral medicine services including managing patients with complex oral mucosal and potentially malignant diseases; oral disease occurring as a manifestation of systemic disease; and complex orofacial pain. There are opportunities for involvement in research. The post is based at Greenlane Clinical Centre in Epsom, Auckland.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Dental Council New Zealand as an Oral Medicine Specialist (https://www.dcnz.org.nz/). You must have an excellent work record, an ability to integrate as part of a team, and a desire for public service.
