WellSouth is committed to achieving high quality equitable health outcomes in Otago and Southland. One of the ways we work towards this is through funding a range of clinical programmes provided to people in our communities and providing information about service provision, utilisation and population demographics through our 'Thalamus' power BI tool. This role is to provide clinical advice and support to our clinical programmes and Thalamus development and implementation in practices.

About the Role:

This is a 0.2 FTE position, and you will be part of the clinical advisory network team at WellSouth, reporting to the Clinical Director. This role is Dunedin based and will require some travel from time to time.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have at least 5 years' experience in the primary health sector
  • Have an understanding of the local health context in Otago/Southland
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to achieve change
  • Possess a high degree of self-motivation, willingness, and self-responsibility to continually improve
  • Be able to lead, collaborate, and influence stakeholders as required
  • Have well-developed advisory/consultative and facilitation skills
  • Hold a current driver's licence
  • Have a focus on equity
