We are part of Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, the overarching organisation for New Zealand's national health service. HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.
About the role:
At Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care to all of our patients. Health Care Assistants are our RNs right hand people. Assisting them with day-to-day tasks of caring for our patients, this is a unique opportunity for you to contribute to our vision of delivering quality patient care. We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our great team of highly skilled nurses in our Satellite Dialysis Unit based at Manukau Health Park.
The successful applicant will get the opportunity to work with different patients and families supporting the nurses. As a Health Care Assistant you will be required to provide clinical care to our patients. Our new team member must also be highly organised, able to prioritise, have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy building relationships with our patients.

- 2+ years Health Care Assistant experience in New Zealand
- Level 4 NZ Health Care Assistant certificate with 1+ years HCA experience in New Zealand
- or NZ Level 3 Health Care Assistant certificate with 2+ years HCA experience or equivalent (to be assessed) in New Zealand
