If you're ready to work with teammates that get you, a leader that supports you and customers that need you, then you're ready for CyberCX.

The Team

Our Data and AI team works with customers from different business verticals on various challenges from Data ingestion, complex reporting and analytics and to GenAI workloads using AWS services. Whatever we build, we build in a way that allows us to reuse the functionality for future engagements.

How you will make an impact

Engage with customers to solve their current and most challenging data and AI use-cases. You will also work as a part of a wider practice with ability to contribute your knowledge and expertise towards multiple different cloud-based deliverables. Lead cloud transformation initiatives, developing the overall cloud strategy and roadmap, aligning cloud data and AI initiatives with the customer's business goals, and communicating the benefits and risks of cloud adoption to key stakeholders.

Day to day you will:
  • Working with the CS2 Architects team to develop complex cloud solutions.
  • Designing and implementing complex cloud Data and AI solutions that involve multiple cloud services and technologies, including assisting with the architecture, selecting the appropriate cloud services and tools, and ensuring that the solution meets the customer's performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Promoting cloud adoption across the Customers' organisation and working with business leaders and IT teams to identify opportunities for leveraging cloud technologies to drive business value. Including identifying the most appropriate cloud services and tools to meet the customers' needs, managing the migration process, and providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Providing subject matter expertise on cloud delivery and providing guidance, direction and support to the customer's IT team through troubleshooting issues, optimising performance, and providing guidance on security and compliance best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically preferred. Certifications in cloud technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect can also be valuable.
  • Knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, including cloud architecture, cloud computing services, and cloud deployment models. This includes experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Data analytics (Spark, AWS Glue, EMR and all the related elements) as well as AI/GenAI tools, practices and services.
  • Experience in managing complex IT projects, including project planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.

Interested but don't meet every item listed above? If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align precisely, please still apply. You could be just the right person for this role and CyberCX.

This role requires full working rights in New Zealand.

The successful candidate will be offered a comprehensive salary package with access to great employee advantages such as:

  • Flexible hybrid working environment, a blend of office and WFH as it suits you and your team.
