About The Role

As a Playground Operator, you'll maintain Council playgrounds, sports courts, equipment, BBQs, bus shelters, waterways, and park furniture. Your tasks will include basic handyman work, playground inspections, minor repairs, cleaning, and asset checks.

What We're Looking For
  • Handyman skills and ideally previous maintenance experience
  • Playground Inspection and Maintenance Course Level 2 (preferred but not essential – training can be provided)
  • Full driver's license and ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a focus on safety
  • Good communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
