New Product Development Technologist - Supplements

This is an exciting hands-on role, and you will help the team to deliver products that help our consumers live better lives.

This opportunity is for a capable, commercially astute person to join us in the Product Development Technologist role. Working within the NPD Supplements team, you will have a key role in shaping our new innovative products. You must be able to multi-task as you will be covering different aspects of New Product Development and formats of health supplements.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Contributing to the innovative ideation for new products
  2. Industrializing innovation and renovation projects from pilot trial through to scale-up
  3. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies from a formulation and process standpoint
  4. Contributing to and supporting the long-term strategies for formulation and process initiatives.

Skills and attributes:

  1. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in product development in a manufacturing environment and exposure to the formulation of supplements or pharmaceutical-type products
  2. A tertiary qualification in science is essential with preference given for a chemistry major
  3. You will be an experienced professional looking for the next challenge
  4. Great attention to detail and accuracy
  5. Deadline and results focused
  6. Team player who works at pace
  7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
