Sole Charge Office Administrator

We are assisting one of our clients in finding an experienced and proactive Sole Charge Office Administrator to join our team in the commercial construction industry. This is a part-time position (27.5-32.5 hours per week) offering a dynamic and fast-paced work environment where your skills will make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Handle invoicing, billing, reconciliations, payroll and general financial administration.
- Coordinate communications with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain office records, including tenders, compliance documents, and health & safety paperwork.
- Assist with coordination and scheduling.
- Manage office supplies and equipment.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in an office administration or similar role, ideally within the construction industry. Ideally 5+ years in a similar role
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of project management software is a plus.
- Proven experience with Xero, Fergus and Thank You Payroll or similar
- Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
