As a Commercial Growth Manager, you'll play a crucial role in expanding our presence in the commercial sector by building strong relationships with business owners, intermediaries, and key referral sources. You'll proactively identify new opportunities and provide tailored banking solutions, ensuring Great Customer Outcomes through expert advice and structured lending options that support long-term business success.

You will be supported by a Commercial Associate and specialist product partners, giving you the support, capacity, and expertise to grow customer connections and drive new business.

  • Proven experience in Business/Commercial Banking or Credit, with a strong understanding of lending and risk
  • Passion for building connections with businesses and proactively developing strong, lasting relationships
  • Ability to assess risk and identify win-win solutions for both the bank and the customer
  • Motivated by growth, with the ability to prospect and expand a portfolio in a competitive environment
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to convert leads into successful business opportunities
  • Solid understanding of banking products and how they support business success
  • Exceptional relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive connections across a broad customer base
  • Committed to collaboration, with a focus on supporting and developing team capability
