About the RoleThe role will see you working alongside a multi-disciplinary team of incredible clinicians. It is an opportunity to work with meaning, building positive relationships within your community, assisting clients to return to independence.
The primary focus of this role is to provide Neuropsychology services to clients and delivering exceptional care for positive outcomes. A typical day will see you:
- Completing assessments on clients to determine the most appropriate programme for their needs.
- Providing psychology services to clients, delivering excellent care for positive health outcomes.
- Writing clear and detailed reports to maintain clinical records.
- Liaising with case managers and ensuring information flows are prompt and effective.
- Managing the care of your clients while working alongside the rest of the business to come up with a holistic plan for treatment.
- Working with your clients to help them better understand their health concerns, providing guidance as to which additional support may be appropriate.
- Attending professional development courses and ensuring knowledge is current, up to date, and consistent with leading edge psychological practice.
- Providing reports as required, based on internal data, for external stakeholders.
- Ensuring internal data collection, maintenance and reporting is consistent with industry best practice and legislative requirements, including the Privacy Act 1993.
- Working with the business to design and build a successful team of psychologists to deliver psychological services to clients.
- A minimum Post graduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- To be a registered Clinical Psychologist.
- A minimum of 3 years relevant experience working in a comparable role.
- Empathic and personable.
- Ability to effectively liaise between multiple stakeholders, including patients, internal staff, and external stakeholders.
