As part of the Finance team and reporting to the Business Process Manager, the Systems Accountant will play a critical role in managing and supporting Vitaco's ERP system while driving process improvements. This position collaborates with other divisions across the organization, making accounting and finance experience essential. You'll work closely with stakeholders to ensure efficient data management, provide training, and support projects that enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master Data Management: Manage and maintain master data in ERP and reporting systems ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • System and Process Improvements: Collaborate with the Business Process Manager to identify and implement initiatives that enhance processes across the business to improve efficiencies.
  • System Training: Develop and deliver training for end-users, equipping them with the tools to maximize system utility. Maintain and update training documentation.
  • Systems Support: Be the go-to expert for finance systems during enhancement projects and regular business activities. Support process redesign and improvement initiatives.
  • Process Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of business and finance processes to ensure knowledge retention and seamless operations.

What we're looking for (key skills):

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in finance and/or accounting
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably with hands-on ERP and BI tools exposure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ERP implementation, ideally with Navision ERP or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Advanced Excel skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong time management, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize projects effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work across divisions.
  • A proactive and innovative approach to process improvement.
  • The ability to be flexible with working hours as required for system enhancements, maintenance or support. This is expected to not be onerous.
