We are seeking a Chef to join our Social group in Rotorua. Social Club is a Cafe, Restaurant, Bar, and Occasions Place with a strong focus on people, community, and sustainability. Our company provides opportunities for growth and self-development for individuals wishing to become part of the top 2% of NZ hospitality. This role is ideal for individuals who work to learn and expand in their career, not just for a paycheck.

Junior and Senior positions available. Candidates should be passionate about people, creating quality food, and continuously gaining knowledge while adhering to our systems, vision, and objectives. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to delivering fast-paced service, showcasing a "yes, we can do it" attitude, and being a versatile Cook.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for excellent food and the Hospitality Industry. This role is for a hands-on, hard-working, reliable team player with industry experience and/or relevant certification. While the following qualities are advantageous, we prioritize genuine hospitality above all:

  1. Experience in a commercial kitchen
  2. Willingness to learn and grow
  3. Availability for weekends, late evenings, and early morning shifts
  4. Natural team spirit and interpersonal skills
  5. Willingness to understand and operate within the company's values

The role of the position is to be a team player and a professional in development, contributing to the kitchen team's financial and operational results. You will understand the culture and lead by example, promoting and advocating the company's vision, mission, values, and principles.

The Cook operates within our systems and learns techniques and plans to achieve the company's ultimate operational, financial, and social goals while delivering outstanding service and developing new skills.
