**Job Summary:** We are seeking an IOL Manager – Surgical Sales to support surgical facilities and oversee the overall IOL portfolio, showcasing expertise in our products' benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Support surgical facilities and oversee the overall IOL portfolio
  • Showcase expertise in our products' benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products
  • Work with Account Managers, Tender and Pricing teams to provide the right customer solutions
  • Drive total IOL revenue and market share in the territory
  • Accelerate PCIOL penetration
  • Facilitate the Accelerator program in selected accounts
  • Manage tender requirements working with internal teams
  • Work with Customer Operations on consignment, leveraging MyAlcon360
  • Develop new business with customers to achieve sales targets
  • Maintain and optimize existing relationships and manage business with existing key customers
  • Provide feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management
  • Maintain and uphold an excellent company image

**Competencies:**

  • Deep knowledge of all IOLs and ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products
  • Ability to competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both technical and interpersonal
  • Customer-oriented mindset and strong customer relationship management
  • Flexibility, motivation, self-confidence, resilience, goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of drive
  • Strong logical and analytical skills to solve problems, ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Experience with CRM applications (such as Salesforce) to manage relationships, complete account and call planning is desired

**Education:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science or business

**Work Experience:**

  • 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within surgical environment or other industries
  • Strong understanding of ophthalmic procedures, product technology, and selling to the medical profession
  • Demonstrable track record developing and executing business plans, goal setting and team building, performance management
  • Strong desire and ability to learn technical knowledge
  • Understanding of the MTAA code of practice
