Private Health & Benefits Adviser

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Employee Benefits team in Auckland. As a Retail Insurance Adviser, you will play a crucial role in expanding our portfolio of retail clients and leveraging our strong relationships with other divisions within Marsh to generate leads for business insurance.

  • Base salary of up to $110,000 per annum

We will count on you to:

  • Drive business growth by consistently exceeding revenue and retention targets, ensuring the continuous expansion of the book of business
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client coverage by offering additional insurance solutions
  • Efficiently manage the underwriting process for additional insurance applications, ensuring timely completion
  • Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions to SME clients, specifically in relation to Key Person and Shareholder cover
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with Commercial Brokers, leveraging these connections to maximize business opportunities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, safeguarding the company's reputation and interests
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's profit objectives by effectively managing revenue and expense budgets.

You will need to have:

  • Relevant financial service qualifications of at least Level 5 with the life, health and disability strand is essential to be considered for the role
  • At least 3 years of proven sales and life insurance advisory experience in the personal insurance space
  • Proven ability to recognise opportunities to generate new revenue/ opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team
  • Proven sales and life insurance advisory experience in the personal insurance space is essential
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Insurance and other relevant legislation and keep abreast of all new developments
  • Role model leadership behaviors in respect of growth initiatives
