Due to an internal promotion, we are currently looking for a
Packaging Development Technologist to join our team.

The Role

  • Provide Trials, Technical Risk assessments, material and machine capability assessments and all other tasks within the Packaging Development Process.
  • Provide technical packaging development expertise and deliver specialist problem solving.
  • Engage and manage a range of stakeholders.
  • Partner NPD Project Leaders to write quality Supply Chain inputs into gate papers.
  • Support the Sustainability & Environmental team and ensure that packaging designs are in line with our commitment to reduce our Packaging Materials footprint.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A broad and in-depth understanding of all aspects of packaging development including local and industry trends, key suppliers and customers.
  • Strong motivation to succeed and deliver quality results.
  • Proven stakeholder management.
  • Proactive mindset with the thirst for knowledge.
  • A tertiary qualification in technically related discipline would be preferred.
