the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia New Zealand 202- To ensure the successful operational delivery of the ninth edition of this competition, we have set up a Local FIFA Subsidiary (LFS).

Its aim is to improve the experience of over 1.1 billion people watching the FIFA Women's World Cup, by delivering innovative solutions across all operational areas.

Job responsibilities

  • The Venue F&B Concessions Manager has the responsibility, under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Concessions Manager Australia, and in close collaboration with the team in FIFA Zurich, for the successful coordination, development, and performance of the FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessionaire Programme between various stakeholders including the Host Country, FIFA, FWWC functions and projects, FIFA Commercial Affiliates and appointed F&B Concessionaire.

  • Coordination of FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessionaire Programme within the Venue assigned.
  • Delivering the rights of FIFA Commercial Affiliates in terms of their product sales and exposure in the frame of the FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessionaire Programme development and operation within the Venue assigned.
  • Working with food and beverage service provider (F&B Concessionaire) on execution of services in the frame of FIFA Public Food & Beverage Concessionaire Programme within the Venue assigned.
  • Working with the signage team on installation of signage elements for all elements of the FIFA Public Food and Beverage Concessionaire Programme in the stadium

  • The specific competencies we require for this position are:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of public event food & beverage industry especially as related to sporting events.
  • Expertise in stadium management, logistics and production of food & beverage services.
  • Knowledge of the food and beverage / catering industry, requirements, and capacity to work well with different constituent groups.
  • Knowledge in the dressing & signage area.
  • Knowledge of basic utilities requirements, especially for food & beverage concessions (electricity, water supply, etc).
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygienic requirements for food & beverage concessions operation.
  • Experience in working directly in the food & beverage/catering industry.
  • Experience in food & beverage concessions / fastfood outlets operational management.
  • Experience in food & beverage concessions operational management within the frame of large public / sport events.
  • Experience in project management in terms of coordination of various stakeholders' interaction including sponsorship.
  • Experience in project infrastructure management.
  • English fluency spoken and written (required)
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project)
  • Planning software and online collaboration tools (an asset)
