The West Adult Community Mental Health Service is one of four city-based teams that provide an assessment and treatment service for consumers with mental illnesses aged between years, and work closely with their families/ whanau - both in the community and alongside inpatient services.

Pehea | About You

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join the West community team as a community mental health nurse who will work closely with consumers and their whanau.

Under the West Community team, the case management position entails providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, case management, and therapeutic interventions for our clients and their family/ whanau.

You will work as a multi-disciplinary team member, where there is a strong focus on returning clients to primary health care sector following specialist input.

You will be experienced with managing and responding to crises.

  • This position requires a registered nurse with vast experience in mental health.
  • A Full Driver s license is also essential.
