About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Wairau Park team. Your primary focus will be on building strong customer relationships and selling a diverse range of flooring solutions.

You'll have the opportunity to engage with customers both in our showroom and in their homes during measure and quote appointments, ensuring a dynamic work environment.

While weekends tend to be our busiest times, we value work-life balance. Enjoy the best of both worlds by working Saturday to Wednesday 8.30am-5.00pm so you have Thursdays and Fridays off.

Key Skills and Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with customers from the initial consultation to the post-installation check-up. Therefore, we are seeking someone who values the complete customer experience and strives to deliver the best possible results.

  • Follow up on customer leads
  • Measure and estimate flooring requirements, and develop detailed plans
  • Provide cost estimates, quotes, and close sales
  • Consult and sell readymade window furnishings
  • Maintain point of sale (POS) and inventory databases
  • Foster excellent staff relations between flooring installers, office, and shop staff
  • Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Keep uptodate with technical product knowledge
