Role Overview

As the Network Security Operations Lead, you will ensure the consistent and reliable delivery of industry leading Managed Network Security Services to our customers. You will drive continuous improvement activities, lead a high-performing team, and maintain robust relationships with our customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Delivery: Ensure effective, secure, stable, and reliable delivery of all Managed Network Security Services to customers.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams, customers, and partners to proactively operate and maintain services.
  • Communication: Ensure efficient, constructive, and informative communication and engagement from the Network Security Operations Team.
  • Team Leadership: Attract, develop, and retain the best network security talent, fostering a team capable of delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Oversee service fault investigation, incident management, and problem management, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Participate in customer review meetings and service improvement plans, supporting the onboarding of new customers and services.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rosters and provide 24-hour availability of technical staff to support customer incidents.

What You Bring

  • Experience: At least 5+ years working in a Network Operations Centre or a comparable environment supporting complex networking environments using SD-WAN, Firewalls and SASE based architectures
  • Documentation Skills: Strong ability to write and review reports, processes, and general customer communications.
  • Leadership: Previous experience as a people/team leader.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network and security protocols, technologies and best practices, comfortably able to provide and receive technical assistance and support.
  • Certifications: Any of the following vendor certifications are desirable: Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, or similar enterprise networking vendor certifications.
  • Cybersecurity Knowledge: Experience in assisting organisations to identify, understand, and address cyber threats.
