We are looking for exceptional Station Attendant to join our Palmerston North team to ensure that all our passengers enjoy an outstanding experience while travelling on our services.

You will provide general station caretaking duties, cleaning and opening of the Palmerston North Railway Station for Capital Connection commuter rail services.

You will thrive on the satisfaction of delivering high customer service and exceeding our passengers' expectations.

To succeed in this role, it is vital that you have a positive, can-do attitude. You will pride yourself on your exceptional customer service skills, and happily go the extra mile for our passengers. You will be able to easily multi-task and be a proactive problem solver. You will need to be physically fit and work in all weathers.

You must hold a full, clean NZ Class 1 Drivers Licence and if you hold a First Aid Certificate, Food and Hygiene and Liquor License this would be an advantage, though not essential as we can arrange this training if you are successful.

This role can have you lifting heavy loads and spending your shift on your feet, so will need a reasonable level of physical fitness.
