Are you a responsible and experienced hospitality professional? We are seeking dedicated Duty Managers to join our team in Wellington

Position: Duty ManagerLocation: WellingtonPay Rate: $28 per hour + 8%

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the licensed premises complies with all conditions of its license
  • Ensure all staff are trained in the responsible service of alcohol and monitor patrons to prevent over-intoxication.
  • Maintain a safe environment for both patrons and staff, manage security risks, and respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Manage conflicts, resolving issues in a peaceful and respectful manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incidents involving alcohol, or other issues on the premises.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current NZ Duty Manager Certificate
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of licensing conditions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Must be available to work on Fridays and Saturdays.
