Responsibilities:

  • Assist telecommunication technicians to install and maintain telecommunication systems.
  • Document, track and monitor issues to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Properly use, store and maintain all test equipment used in system.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain daily paperwork required for the site and the crew.
  • Lift, carry, push and pull heavy equipment.
  • Basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform repair and maintenance on multiple services.
  • Coordinate with onsite technicians who perform all handson work.
  • Read signal levels through use of field strength meter. adds and subtracts levels in installation problems. install connectors on different type of drop cable. maintain proper clearances. install tapoff devices.
  • The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
