About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga


As part of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Administration Team who are located across New Zealand, this role will ensure the smooth operation of all administrative functions for our new Pivot Programme (Drug & Alcohol Support Service) based in Wellington as well as other assigned services, while promoting strong relationships and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, clients, staff and the wider administration team members.


You will always demonstrate a commitment to understanding our Mental Health & Wellbeing business model, always delivering an efficient, effective, consistent, innovative, person centred and community focused service.

This is a permanent full-time working 40 hours per week.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues.
  • Cheerful personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Technical inclination and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
  • A minimum of three years administration experience or relevant previous experience working within the health, disability and/or behaviour support sector.

As a Referrals Administrator, you will:

  • Enter and update referral data in our CRM system and other databases
  • Monitor and follow up on referral status and outcomes
  • Generate and analyse referral reports and metrics
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve referral quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth referral flow and coordination
  • Maintain professional and courteous relationships with referral sources, colleagues, and customers
  • Hold a lead portfolio for one or more specific referral areas within the team
