The role:


An exciting role, where you'll join our largest branch and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working with a close-knit, experienced team within a large organisation.


Reporting to the Trade Counter Team Leader in our Montreal Street branch, this role will see you working behind the Trade Counter, ensuring that our customers, who are made up mainly of tradies, plus also some businesses and home-owners, are greeted with a cheerful smile and exceptional service.


You'll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the opportunity to progress in the branch, the business and the organisation.

Product, trade or industry knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials if you're a willing learner


This is a permanent, full time role, working Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, with a rostered Saturday morning once a month from 8am-12.30pm (paid overtime).


About you:


To shine in this role, you'll bring energy, a customer-focused attitude and a strong work ethic to the business and be prepared to work closely and flexibly with the rest of our team.

Our Montreal Street team work collaboratively and so your strong teamwork skills are essential to this role. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be your strength and you'll be IT savvy too.


We are a close-knit, fun-loving team, looking for someone with a confident, out-going personality and a natural ability to relate to lots of different people.

We all pull together so being prepared to get stuck in and assist where needed is a must.
