Glendowie College is seeking a teacher of Spanish to join our supportive, innovative, and well-resourced Languages Faculty and kura. At Glendowie College we prioritise being an inclusive school and learning environment for all ākonga. Glendowie College is committed to Mātauranga Māori and is well advanced on this journey school-wide.

We are seeking a teacher who is able to teach Spanish to Level 3 NCEA. We offer the IB Middle Years Programme for our Y9 and 10 students and a Y11 Pathway which prepares ākonga for success in NCEA.

An ideal candidate will:

  • be collaborative and collegial
  • build positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • motivated to engage in and implement professional learning
  • have experience teaching NCEA Spanish.

This is a permanent, full-time position starting 28 January 2025.
