We are currently looking for some enthusiastic people to join our team at Wellington Hospital as Casual Kitchen Assistants in the Patient Food Service department.


Your role will be responsible for a range of duties including food preparation, sandwich making and general kitchen cleaning duties.

You will be reporting to the Patient Services Manager and contribute towards the delivery of a range of services to our client and hospital patients.

Hours available between 6.00 am and 4.00 pm or 4.00 pm and 8.00 pm. Availability for weekend work an advantage (weekend penal rates apply).

We are looking for a fun-loving and energetic individual who has a great sense of humor and can make our customers feel right at home To hit the ground running, you will have:
A passion for quality food and customer service
A current food handler's certificate is an advantage
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
Understanding of OH&S and food safety practices
Be available at short notice
Some food handling experience will be an advantage, but full training will be given.
