Ko wai koe | About You
Our Haematology service comprises of several sub-specialities with one being Clinical Trials. The service is seeking a Senior Registrar to join the Trials team for a period of 12 months.

The successful applicant will work closely with our Clinical Trials team in performing Sponsor and Investigator initiated research and conducting clinical consultations.

Currently we have over 12 active clinical trials.


There is also an opportunity to work in support of the other Registrars in support of the wider Haematology service.


Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills & Experience

  • You will have experience in a number of hospital departments including Haematology.
  • An understanding and interest in clinical trials / research in order to act as a subinvestigator and or Principal Investigator covering;
  • Keep track of drugs and distribute only as specified in the protocol
  • Keeping careful records and maintain them for as long as the protocol dictates
  • Ensuring progress, safety, financial, and a final report to the study sponsor.
  • Serious adverse events reported immediately
  • Update financial disclosures if any circumstances change during the study
  • Ensuring all records are complete and easily accessible by FDA
  • Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
  • A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
