The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader in Auckland to lead the Tyremax warehouse operations from start to finish. The role is full-time Monday-Friday 7 - 5:30 . But we are looking for someone who is flexible in all areas of work.

Ideally, you have a proven background leading successful operations teams but good attitude and core transferable skills will also be highly regarded

The Role:

  • Plan and allocate workload across the team, ensuring service standards are consistently met.
  • Oversee inbound shipments and coordination of container deliveries and collections.
  • Work closely with Transport Team Leader to ensure container devanning workload are prioritised appropriately.
  • Ensure stock accuracy, stock levels, returns, claims are all dealt with in a timely manner in accordance with relevant processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of Health and Safety culture ensuring compliance and reporting is adhered to.
  • Address team issues as they arise including performance, mis conduct, dis agreements, one on ones.
  • Encourage high performance and positive moral from the team at all times.
You'll Need:
  • Good level of physical fitness ( this role is hand on)
  • Strong people and communication skills including written English
  • Ability to learn and manage systems
  • High standard of presentation, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills including well developed listening, written and verbal capabilities.
  • Strong leadership drive to maintain and continuously improve performance.
  • High level of flexibility, agility and responsiveness.
Requirements:
  • Full Class 1 Drivers License
  • Fork Lift, Stock picker or Reach Licence is ideal
  • Clear MOJ
  • Able to pass pre employment Drug test
  • 2 Verbal references
  • NZ Residency or Citizenship
