Our Takanini Site is looking for a motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team.

As an essential New Zealand food manufacturing business, never has it been more important for us to deliver to every New Zealander who is counting on us.

As a Process Operator, you'll be trained to operate fillers and packers in the UHT Plant.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting up, monitoring and operating automated production machinery.
  • Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards of hygiene;
  • Running machine diagnostics and problem solving;
  • Ensuring documentation is correct and complete.
  • Equipment ownership of plant machinery.
  • Cleaning of plant machinery as required
  • Being flexible and open to upskilling and cross training in other areas and additional tasks

Shifts Available
Shift pattern: 3,2,2; with a rotating roster

Night Shift:

Based on 12-hour shifts between 5.09pm to 5.15 am, three days on and two days off vice versa on alternating weeks.


About you
Experience in this industry is ideal, but not necessary. We are looking for someone who is motivated and passionate about growing their skill set.

Your high attention to detail and sound problem-solving skills will ensure things run smoothly - as you won't just identify the problem, you'll be part of finding and implementing the solution.

Together with a can-do attitude and good work ethic, you'll be able to demonstrate a background of:

  • Operation of touch screen machinery
  • Strong focus on health and safety
  • Working in an environment where you need to be physically fit and able to lift 25kgs
  • Computer literacy, SAP experience is desirable
  • Understand the basic IWS systems
