Job Description:


Join us as a Payroll Partner on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave and you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely production and administration of Payroll services.

Reporting into the Payroll Lead, this role encompasses service delivery across our store network for all brands under TWG.

Snapshot of the role:

  • Processing of monthly/fortnightly payroll
  • Manage payroll queries and ensure responses are timely
  • Update payroll records in a timely manner
  • Support and assist continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems
  • Keep up to date with current legislation

Qualifications:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Partner with a flair for providing great customer service.

Retail is fast paced, and things never stand still at The Warehouse Group so you will also need to be energetic and embrace change with a diplomatic and decisive can-do attitude.


It goes without saying that you need to be comfortable in a high-volume environment, and to be very driven with meeting deadlines with
utmost accuracy.

As with any payroll function there are processes to follow but you will have the patience to work through any issues which are sure to pop up when working with our support team members across the country.


We will be offering you a lot of variety in this role as you will be working across a number of brands within the business.

We pride ourselves on teamwork and supporting one another when workloads fluctuate. Engaging with each other as a team gives us the edge to stay ahead of the curve

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Previous payroll experience
  • Knowledge/experience of ACC process
  • Knowledge of PAYE, KiwiSaver, Student Loan etc
  • Knowledge/experience of myIR filing
  • Strong understanding of NZ employment legislation (Holiday's Act, Parental Leave etc)
  • Experience processing high volume
  • Experience with
    PayGlobal would be desirable.
  • An eager to learn attitude and someone that shows initiative.
And don't forget the ultimate skills that can make all the difference: data entry. You will be very accurate and also proactive with data maintenance to ensure integrity.
