We currently have a vacancy for a motivated, empathetic, and professional Medical Radiation Technologist.

As a member of the medical radiation technologist (MRT) team, an MRT provides an efficient imaging service of the highest quality at all times and provide a welcoming, accurate and responsive imaging service to PRG patients, referrers and funders.


The successful applicant must be registered with the New Zealand MRTB and hold a current annual practicing certificate.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnostic imaging of a good quality and in line with published imaging protocols
  • Recording information in the relevant Radiology Information System
  • Consistently acting with consideration and compassion to all patients
  • Ensuring the quality philosophies of Pacific Radiology are integrated throughout your practice

You will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist and a sound knowledge of techniques and practices
  • Currently registered with the New Zealand MRTB and hold a current annual practicing certificate
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Continuous improvement focus and collaborative mind set to deliver better outcomes
