Our Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for either an experienced Civil Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer within our Generation's Project Team who provide support to Mercury through the provision of engineering expertise across the following areas, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and C&I.
The Project Engineering Team is one of four teams in the Generation Projects section, responsible for technical and quality aspects of project development and delivery.
In this role you'll collaborate with Project and Technical Managers as well as operation teams and Asset Management and Central Engineering teams to deliver high-value projects.

You'll be a member of several project teams, delivering projects to the Mercury geothermal and hydro power stations.This will provide you with a chance to share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, while also developing your own skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure highvalue projects are delivered (end to end) safely in line with company strategic objectives
- Provide technical expertise balance the technical, stakeholder and budget drivers to provide valueoptimised solutions for Mercury
- Management of change, quality and commissioning of projects
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate preventive and corrective actions
We are looking for:
- Experience as Senior Engineer with relevant engineering and project management practices. To be considered as a Senior Civil Engineer, we are looking for significant experience within the heavy Civil and Structural field. However, we may consider the civil engineers within the field with lesser experience.
- Previous contribution to endtoend project development and delivery, from initiation and planning to construction and commissioning (desirable)
- Knowledge of Civil engineering discipline relevant to Mercury (civil and structures experience)
- Knowledge of power plants, bridge or dams engineering/construction is highly desirable
- Good working knowledge of complex Civil works including a combination of Earthworks, Construction Methodologies, Geotech and Structures
