Drake is currently recruiting for a client in the glass processing industry. With requirements with their clients increasing, they are continuing to expand.

Summary:

Full time and permanent positions for a client who needs employees for an immediate start. It's important to continue following the day to day running of the factory and processes are followed. With multiple containers of glass arriving each week it's required to be processed and made to special order. Each individual employee as a responsibility during the process.

About the role:


These roles are run over three different shifts throughout the day and allow for a comfortable work life balance with the factory operating Monday to Friday.

During the shift each employee is given a department on the factory floor, monitoring and working with the glass to ensure each order is made to specification while ensuring the quality is maintained.

On the job training is provided which will see you increase skills and knowledge in a factory setting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Machine operation
  • Ensuring health and safety practices are followed
  • Following factory timing and procedures
  • Quality control

Skills and experience:

  • F endorsement (Preferred but not essential)
  • OSH (Preferred but not essential)
  • Positive attitude
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to work among a team
  • Physically fit
