We are looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to step into a new foreman role based at our Palmerston North workshop.

You'll have an interest in electric vehicles and a great work ethic with an interest in supporting others in their work, as well as a strong focus on health and safety.


The role:


Lead our team of two diesel mechanics in Palmerston North and provide oversight for our mechanic in our Whanganui workshop.

You will be a trained diesel mechanic with at least 5 years experience. You will have strong diagnostic skills and the proven ability to manage a team, with great communication skills. You should have some administration skills including the ability to learn our payroll and fleet maintenance systems.


You will be leading the team in covering servicing and general repairs on a modern fleet of fully electric urban buses and their charging infrastructure, as well as working on diesel school and charter buses and long distance and touring coaches.
