Dispatch Manager

We are seeking for a highly organized Dispatch Manager to oversee the efficient and timely delivery of food products to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of dispatchers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent performance
  • Coordinate logistics, including route planning, scheduling, and vehicle allocation
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of food products to customers, meeting tight deadlines and high service standards
  • Monitor and optimize delivery routes, reducing miles driven and lowering costs
  • Collaborate with transportation, warehouse, and customer service teams to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Implement and enforce food safety and quality control procedures during transportation and delivery
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, optimize routes, and improve overall dispatch operations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety, transportation, and labor laws


You will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $27-$32 per hour.


Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
