We have an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced
Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or NASC Service Coordinator (with an Allied Health APC) to join us as a
Practice Supervisor to lead our team of enthusiastic and passionate Allied Health professionals within
Intermediate Care, Adult Community Services. Practice Supervisors provide clinical expertise and support and, coordinate day-to-day activities and workload as well as maintain their own clinical expertise.

The Intermediate Care Service consists of Nurses and Allied Health staff. Our focus is on bridging the gap between hospital and home.

We offer a Hospital in Home Service as well as supporting short-term stays in Interim Care facility beds (predominately following orthopaedic injuries).

This
permanent,
full-time (40 hours/week) position is based at
Greenlane Clinical Centre.


This is a fantastic opportunity to take your first step into a formal clinical leadership role with a leadership and management development programme and collegial support of the other Allied Health Practice Supervisors in Adult Community Services.

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills
As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or NASC Service Coordinator (with an Allied Health APC)
  • 7+ years of relevant clinical experience
  • Clean, full New Zealand driver's licence
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and use of evidenceinformed practice
  • A flexible, proactive approach with advanced communication and interpersonal skills
