Totara House is a specialist Early Intervention in Psychosis Service, which works with young adults aged 18-30, who have experienced a first episode of psychosis.

We are looking for a Qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our cohesive, client focused, multi-disciplinary team on a fixed term, 0.4FTE basis.


The Role:

This full-time position involves general Clinical Psychology work for outpatients ' both specialist psychological assessments as well as treatment services targeting both symptom control as well as supportive factors associated with recovery.

The Christchurch Mental Health Division actively supports professional advancement through a professional framework that recognises skill and experience.

In addition to general service training, specific professional development through ongoing education is supported, particularly because of the specialist nature of this position.

The position is an innovative role where excellent interpersonal skills and organisational skills are vital.

You will draw on your mental health experience to deliver comprehensive assessment and support to clients and their families/whanau and will be an active participant in our multidisciplinary team, working closely with referrers and colleagues from other agencies.
