The Distribution Centre is a vital link between our customers and sales. The Just Group has an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Distribution Centre's Nightshift team

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this
Sunday to
Thursday, 8pm to
4:30am role, you will be involved in leading and coordinating the team to ensure orders are packed and processed.


You will actively be involved in managing the dispatch/picking team on the floor and providing coaching and training as needed as well as motivating the team to succeed and be the best they can be This role is crucial to the success of the overall team and requires someone who can lead from the front and role-model our company values.


Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating and delegating to the wider team to ensure orders are completed efficiently & accurately
  • Organising teams to work overtime as and when required
  • Providing coaching to the team while on the floor and ensuring correct induction of new employees
  • Ensuring deliveries are unloaded/loaded in a timely manner to maintain schedules
  • Performing stocktakes and ensuring accuracy of warehouse inventory
  • Completing necessary administration tasks
  • Ensuring budgeted costs are achieved

To be considered for this role you will need to have:

  • Experience working in a Distribution Centre environment
  • Experience in leading and motivating a team
  • A good understanding of Health and Safety at Work
  • The ability to take initiative and to work autonomously
  • High attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
