Hansang Trading Limited is currently seeking to hire a professional and experienced Supply & Distribution Assistant Manager. This role will be based in Auckland.

This is a full-time permanent job with 35 hours per week.

Salary range:
$ $31.61 per hour

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the warehouse and make time to time decisions on matter of importance to client service
  • Create /Use MS Excel / Company Sales/Stock Program schedules and provided system solutions to manage stocktaking when new stock arrives and update volumes of daily sales.
  • Responsible for ensuring inward goods are in good condition, and submit a claim to insurer and/or supplier if required
  • Estimate new stock needs based on feedback from customers and data, and submit a list of the items for the next shipment to the Senior Manager and Merchandise Planner
  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including stationery, supply, utility and labourcost
  • Manage lowlevel staff performance
  • Maintaining plant and equipment in good condition, such as forklifts, trolleys and freezer units
  • Ensuring ATF processes and regulations are met with sea containers
  • Ensuring MPI instructions are met at all times
  • Monitoring stock to ensure FIFO and perform regular stocktakes to manage accurate stock level and expiry date of goods
  • Managing stock for damages and losses
  • Managing incoming stock including sea containers and deliveries to ensure correct goods are received
  • Assisting and working with other team leaders to achieve maximum efficiency
