_Clinical Coach Part time position available (0.3 FTE) in paediatrics (KFED)_

It is a modern purpose built facility providing a wide range of clinical care and is one of two major trauma centres for the Auckland region and supports the National Burns centre for New Zealand


This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse (Proficient or Expert) to join our Kids First Emergency Department to support and provide clinical guidance for our current team and New Graduate Nurses.


As the Clinical Coach you will role model excellence in clinical practice and assist current and New Graduate Nurses in nursing assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.

Essential:

  • New Zealand Registered Nurse
  • Current Annual Practicing Certificate
  • Proficient / Expert level PDRP
  • 3 years' experience post registration (in a variety of clinical settings)
  • Trained Preceptor

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualification in progress
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in Paediatric / Medical / Acute / Primary Health Care
